Valentines Day Around These Parts...

Our Valentines Day this year was perfect and low key... just how we like it! I have loved seeing all of the fun ways to celebrate via Pinterest and rolled up my sleeves to surprise my Mister when he got home.

For dinner I made a yellow chicken curry with tons of veggies in the crockpot and finally pulled out our rice cooker and made jasmine rice to go along side.

Dessert was the best part...duh! I decided to make two treats to cure my hunny's sweet tooth. The first being cupcakes...

To make these cupcakes:

(1) Brownie Mix
(1) White Cake Mix
(1) Regular Size Strawberry Jello
(8) Fresh Strawberries
Eggs, Oil & Water per Mix Instructions
(1) Can of Vanilla Frosting
(1) Can of Chocolate Frosting

Follow the instructions for the mixes on each box in separate bowls. To the white cake mix add the Jello and fresh sliced strawberries. Fill your cupcake wrappers 1/3 full of the brownie mixture and the rest of the way with the strawberry cake mixture. Bake at 350 for about 20 min or until done. Frost!

Next, I decided to dip triple stuffed Oreos in white almond bark and dust with sprinkles...super easy, super yum!
