So I know I kinda skipped town the last couple of weeks. The week before Christmas was crazy busy with work, life and church so blogging took a back seat and the week after Christmas I was on vacation so that meant a much needed vacation from the PC as well. Then my life changed…big time!
On December 30th I was laid off from my job 19 days shy of 6 years… it was out of the blue and a complete shock. I have prayed for God to close this door in his due time but for whatever reason I always thought it would be on my terms… I forgot that God was in control. Over the past few days I have spent a lot of time mourning that season that is now over in my life. Trying to understand what my next move is and wait for the Lord’s instruction.
I don’t want to rush into a new position out of fear, maybe God closed the door on that career to afford me the opportunity to pursue my dream of being a full time Etsy seller and stay at home mommy. That being said my plan is to list my entire AMAZING vintage into a brand new Etsy shop!! Yes, Cookie Louise Vintage will be going online as well as remaining local. I am super excited to share all of my amazing finds with you all and hope to see you rocking some fab Cookie Louise Vintage soon!
